Funding Boards
The key to finding adequate funding for your organizational event is to plan early! Speak with your Student Organizations Leadership and Engagement advisor to learn about all of the funding opportunities available on campus. The different funding boards have a variety of deadlines and requirements for their applications. As much information about your event that is known will make it easier to determine what funding boards would be best for your event. Remember, as a registered organization you are eligible to apply for funding where the requirements for receiving funding are met. However, being allocated funding is not a guarantee.
Fundraising
Your Student Organizations Leadership and Engagement advisor can also discuss with you fundraising options. Many organizations plan fundraisers to meet the financial needs of planning events for their organization, but you must make sure that your fundraiser is in compliance with all University regulations and policies.
