Half Day: Up to 6 hours

Overtime Rate: Any filming over 12 hours

Filming requests must be received at least seven (7) days in advance of the filming start date. Any filming request received within seven (7) days or less of filming start date is considered a late notice request. Late notice requests are subject to denial. If the Events Office is able to accommodate at late notice request, a one-time 25% late notice/rush fee will be added to the total permit fee rate for the project.

Any film permit request for video footage already filmed on the UCLA campus without a UCLA film permit acquired in advance is considered an after-the-fact film permit request. After-the-fact film permit requests are subject to denial based on improper or unauthorized use of University Marks or other unreconcilable conflicts with University time, place and manner policies . If the Events Office does accommodate an after-the-fact film permit request, a 50% after-the-fact fee will be added to the permit fee rate for the project.
